Who doesnot know about the famous Virender Sehwag known sultan of Multan. A man who made his mark as Great batsman once made the Indian Team coach so angry that he held sehwag collar in anger and the coach was John wright. This incident is of NATWest Trophy Tournament in 2002 and apart from India , Sri lanka and England was also part of this tournament. Than John wright had became their new coach and he was trying hard that the team should perform their best.
Despite of Sehwag good form , he used be out by giving his bad shot. Coach was not able to understand why Sehwag was doing that. He advised Sehwag twice to play very calmly but there was no affect on Sehwag. Then one day in anger John wright told Saurabh Ganguly that if sehwag played the wrong shot and got out then he might something that he shouldn’t do. When Sehwag got to know about the Wright words then another day Sehwag got out at zero.
After this Wright thought Sehwag is trying to deliberately tease him that’s why he is getting out. Then coach scolded Sehwag badly , both were arguing. Then John held onto Sehwag collar . This incident was told to Ganguly by Sehwag and cause of it Ganguly asked the coach to apologise to Sehwag and John refused to apologize. Both were admant on their words. Then in the end sachin intervene in the middle of the argument and explained Ganguly that if the matter goes to the Board than it will affect the team also but indirectly Sachin wanted to say that even action can be taken on Sehwag.
